Reference photos are a necessary part of my artistic process and help me understand the location, lighting, and atmosphere you'd like captured.You can use your own personal photographs as well as source images from online, but please understand that if you are sourcing images other than your own, we will only be using those as inspiration. I will not replicate any images that I do not own the copyright to.

Yes. I can thoughtfully combine elements from multiple reference images to create a composition that best captures the feeling of a place while remaining true to my artistic style.

No. While your reference photos guide the painting, each commission is an original work of art interpreted through my style. My goal is to capture the spirit, atmosphere, and beauty of the location rather than create a photographic copy.

Yes. We'll collaborate on the initial sketch, and if you'd like, I'll send progress photos as the painting develops.

Absolutely. During the planning stage, we'll discuss your vision, preferred composition, color palette, and any meaningful details you'd like included. However, once painting begins, I'll only accept very minor adjustments, any major changes may require an additional fee.

Each commission is individually quoted based on the size, composition, level of detail, hours spent, materials, and overall scope of the project. Starting prices are available, and you'll receive a personalized fixed quote before any work begins.

Yes. A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your commission and secure your place in my schedule. I will only buy materials and start painting after I've received your deposit. The remaining balance is due before delivery or pickup.

I recommend reaching out at least three months before the date you'd like to receive your finished painting. Completion times vary depending on the size of the project and my current commission schedule.

If your commission is needed for a special occasion or event, please let me know when you inquire. I'll do my best to accommodate your timeline if my schedule allows! A three month notice is appreciated, especially for large pieces.

Shipping costs are estimated during the quoting process and calculated precisely once your painting is complete and ready to ship. Local pickup on Oʻahu is also available.Shipping costs are variable and can depend largely on how the item is packaged, the dimensions and weight of the package, as well as the location it's being shipped to. Please understand that I do my best to provide an accurate estimate upfront, but I can not guarantee the estimate I provide will reflect the exact price of shipping that you will receive on your final invoice.
